Topeka's water quality put to the test

TL;DR Topeka has an extensive water treatment process that takes a full day from river to tap. And because it's on everyone's mind: None of our water mains are made of lead -- only lead in the City is found in service lines and interior plumbing of older homes, and they've never been above EPA regs. Also, the Kansas River has hard water, so very little corrosion (you can think those white rings around your faucets for that).
